Mntsnow that is a very nice job. You should be proud of your workmanship.
The crane I picked up today I want to make movable between trucks and
trailers, I mean a 1500 pound crane needs to be mobile! I found a pic
of what I scored less the couple parts I will need to fab here
I do not know about you guys but I am thrilled Mr. R_Racing is making posts
herein this forum! I have spent HOURS reading past posts from gifted men like R_Racing.
Unless I have been under a rock I have not seen this masked man for some time here!
Now we just need to get the elusive Mr...
Funny you should ask. Just today I picked up my LMTV 1500# Crane
made by I think it is Grove. I actually bought it months ago in WA and
had a bro pick it up and stash it for me. He arrived in the area today
and I went and fetched it up.
Stay tuned to your favorite MV forum for a pictorial...
Zebe click HERE and look at what these guys are pushin'.
If I wanted some Quick Disco for hydraulic lines I would consider
the flushface design. They are neat and clean, there used on a lot
of Bobcat type connections because they are neat and clean.
You may want to bring a 1-1/8" socket and breaker bar
to possibly adjust the lunette ring for your M915. I "lowered"
my trailers lunette ring to the very bottom on the trailers
lunette ring mount and it is about perfectly level. My truck is
50" from the ground to the top of the frame rails if...
Bravo Paul, a wise decision, you will see...
Does not your M915A1 have gladhands right there at the rear pintle? If so you should be fine.
If you do not have gladhands at the very rear you will need to make extensions from
the pogo area.
My M916 has gladhands right there at the pintle, I...
The best way I found to test the air system, and you might want to do this before you fix anything
is to add a Schrader valve into the system and w/ the engine off simply pump it up w/ your shop compressor and
listen for air leaking. On my M925A1 I just unscrewed that pressure relief valve over...
Would not M915 rears swap in?
If so I would love to snag an A/C system out of an M915 to put in my M916 and maybe buy one and
part it. They come up near me a lot, I can not swing the full rice myself.
Keep me in mind.
What position is the transfer case lever in and is the front axle locked in or out?
Do all warning lights work? Is the tranny shifter locking into slots positively?
No, grinding of gears is not normal.
I do not know but I would suggest they will work w/ a civilian
truck if all is wired status quo. Please tell me what the
clearance light on the convertor box is for! I think it has
something to do w/ civilian use.
(You will see what I mean instantly when you arrive at your new trailer and...
The hydraulic tank has a filter. Well two of them.

Looks like is has a serviceable breather element and I think
a pressure gauge can be added, I think it would indicate
a high pressure if...
