Thanx to both for the replies... What I am doing is I have a very cool old hook that is LARGE that I may want to hang up there. Of corse if I had my truck in hand I would just measure it myself but 1200 miles seperates us. If I had known how much fun I was going to have w/ it I might have...

Mine downshifts hard as well. I am somewhat relieved that "they all do it" after reading this thread, well, seems like most. So perhaps a filter change is in my future and a change to DEX 3 at the same time. I was most concerned for use on-road in the snow, seems like it would be an invitation...

    M923a1 air brake question

Have you made an air hose yet so you can connect it to the right rear and air your tires back up after you lower the air to go in the sand? It will go at 70 PSI but if you start to get stuck air down a ton on all 6 corners and she'll walk right out... What did the manual say for sand, 25PSI? I...

    M923a1 air brake question

yep your gonna love it...THE SCHOOL! :grd: ...and driving the beasts is a blast as well. When it is all done i guarantee you, you will say "I AM GLAD I DID THAT". Do not go fast in 1st gear low range! I think there is a big warning someplace about going more than 5-6mph in 1st gear low range...

    M923a1 air brake question

Here are some more links to files. Operators Manual I am pretty sure this is the manual that would have come w/ the truck stock. It would have been in a Cotton Duck Olice Drab holder then all went in the storage box behind the companion seat. 2012 Hand Receipt BII This has lists of parts that...

    M923a1 air brake question

Before I hopped in the drivers seat for the first time and old pro told me; "Those brakes will put your head into the windshield, be careful.." ...to wit I have been. Indeed, IMO they are "sensative", but, after you drive it for a while you get the hang of them and you will be fine (so long as...
