any truck with a gvw over 26k lds ,you have to have at least a class B comm. lic. some states to drive a three axel veh. i'm sure you're gonna get a lot of different answers though.

use plow pins from a fisher plow set up. they're 1' and the right lenght, and you can grind one side flat. paint it green and it's original .

you want to dig up a set of shutters from the 60's era AUTOCAR trucks.the shutters worked off a temperature sensor and were controlled by an air cylinder to close or open. finding the right width and height is the hard part.

if you don't own it people beat the snott out of it. look at the u-haul trucks for example. we got kids at work that beat the **** out of our service truck, and i always tell them ,don't ever ask to borrow my pick up. they always say why not.
