if the high beam indicator is on when on low beam, you're wires are crossed. my low beams were wired to grnd, and the grnd was to the low beam.

it does'nt sound like you guys are running the recomended pressure for those tires. it should be stamped on the sidewall. there should be a pressure for single wheel or dual wheels. and i'm really sure it will be over 75 pounds. if you prefer a softer ride over safety, you are in for a rude...

you'd be better off with a strobe or an led light. the rotators have a tendency to shake themselves apart.. and the strobes and led's use way less juice.

i disagree with the way you've done it. the inside bearing and seal should be installed in the hub first. the way you've done it, when you push the hub on it will just force the seal further onto the spindle because there's nothing to stop it. if you've ever installed an inner seal in anything...

i used a small piece of plywood and a good 4x4 block. a solid direct hit in the center of the block should get the seal started and then go around the edge about 8 times until it is seated. i was told they should'nt leak because the 90 wgt should'nt get into the hub.

the fair is 8/21 &8/22 this year and i've heard there might a flea mkt. don't know for sure. but we're going anyway.be there around 9 or 10 and will do parade on sun too. was a blast last year and hope to see you guys again.

yep, good old mass. anything with more than 5 wheels must be reg. comm. look into antique comm. plates. only 200 to $300 a yr.

you might be in for a surprise. my buddie tried to hook his 9 ton tag to his deuce and the civy lunette ring will not fit on the oversized pintle hook. had to chop down the pintle with a torch and a grinder to make it look pretty.

i;ve heard that rule of thumb is you lose 1/32" of tire for every 1k miles. i've got 7k miles on the sneakers on my beast. still plenty of rubber left.

for the back i used shackles from a 1998 mack truck. had to run a round file thru the mounting but they look original.
