If you want to be period correct the old two pin adaptor is what your are looking for. That one was used for many years and I have seen them on fairly recent MV's, that's why they had the two pin to NATO adaptor. I have a couple of them kicking aroung the shop but you should be able to find...

There are many things in the inventory that are operated by hooking cables to the slave port, impact wrences, pumps, lights, computers, etc. You can pretty much cobble things to work as long as you know how to judge the voltage requirements of what you want to operate.
