Filter number for M900 series trucks

I am going to use the M927 to do a recovery in the next week or so and I want to change the big fuel filter just under the drivers side fender. It's a canister filter and looks to be the same as the one on the 800 series. If I remember correctly that fiter costs a war pension and I have a...

    Door Locks

If you unlock the front windshield and reach in you can lock the door from the inside.......only a long armed kid could reach in and unlock it. This works better with a hardtop since a determined person could reach under the soft top and unlock the door.

New guy govt liquidation buyer questions

If you are only going to buy one truck you should consider a private purchase. SS member Clinto is near you and sells very good deuces that he has given much love to. He will allow you to preview the truck and give you good advice on the care and feeding of these beasts.

Out with old rusty, in with (unique?) new M416

The truth is stranger than fiction but there should be some way to verify that. Just about everything Uncle buys is done to certain specs and under contract.

    Questions about removing deuce wheels

Here is a picture of a Budd Socket....what you had pictured was the Basic Issue Item (BII) lug wrench and handle. Removing frozen lug nuts with that POS is an exercise in frustration. I have a BIG one inch impact gun that I use for lug nuts and even it would not take the lug nuts off of one...
