im a little confused as to what my truck is

I hope you mean that you got it cheap. It looks like it has been somewhat butcherd....not factory fenders, fifth wheel or tool boxes. The multi in the 5 ton was more powerful than the regular deuce.....if it has not been repowered.

Fair price for having a radiator recored

I had a 5 ton rad recored for 500 bucks and some change. Before I'd pay that for a recore on a small one I'd go with a new one.

The "Nifty 250" is a dog...always has been...always will be.....you can turn the fuel to it, add a turbo, put propane or NOS on it and it's still going to be a bow wow. These were never meant to be high speed trucks...thats what the line haul trucks were for. For what you'll spend to fix the...

    What is this Tank called

Welcome to my world. Having been the editor of a military publication I often have to bite my tongue (or reign in my fingers) to keep from hurting someones feelings or being called a "grammar bully". The war on illiteracy has been fought to a standstill.

That should be addressed immediatly.....fire hazard.....FIRE BAD!!!!!!!!!!! The fuel filter cans have a gasket recessed into the housing.....sometimes when you change filters you can use the same gasket (it is a PITA to change them in place). You have to tighten the crap out of them to get...
