It would have a high center of gravity by the time you put the mechanics between the frame and the bottom of the rail system. You would also need a hydrolic system to operated it. I have driven roll off trucks and they get squirrly when heavily loaded. You might consider swappable bodies...

I am somewhat confused as to what you are asking. Do you mean a hook and lift system like on a Palletized Loading System truck (where a load is lifted and dragged up on the back of the truck). Or do you mean a hook and lift as in a wrecker? Or do you mean a lifting device on the front...

Yes. Tires are 900X20....they will be swapped over to the M275. The tires on it will be on the block at the rally unless someone comes by here and snags them first. That depends on how much aggravation they are to remove.......if it goes well I'll take $300.00 or interesting...

Cage all of the brakes and (very carefully) see if she will move. If it won't the S cams have prob malfunctioned. I'm not a mechanic but it's not a hard fix for someone versed in air brake systems.

If anyone is interested there is one near me mounted on a dual wheel genny trailer.....the old boy that owns it has several MV's (mostly M151 varients) but he is not one of "us". He offered it to me for 800 bucks for the whole nine yards. PM if interested and I'll try to get a hold of him.

When I was growing up there were two ice houses in our area.....they used an amonia refrigeration system to freeze the huge blocks of ice. They would sell you a whole block or chip off smaller blocks to suit your needs. I haven't seen an ice house like that in ages.........guess they have gone...

My M275 will pull an Expando Van on flat ground pretty good....when it hits a hill it falls flat on it's face. With an LDS engine and a set of 1100X20 tires it would be really be a hoss.

Make sure you hook them up correctly....if you cross them they will work for a few times and then they can begin to drag or lock up.
