Saw an interesting deuce what was it?

The South Koreans knocked off deuces but I don't think they were made of fiberglass. Pics would be helpful.

    Can This Be Fixed???

Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing accademy.:cookoo: There are several of us "Green Iron Addicts" in the NE AL area. If you get down this way (I am about 60 miles SE of Redstone) give me a yell. I'll put something special on the grill.

    Deuce Recovery Story (my first)

The only thing that lies more consistantly than a career politician is a deuce fuel gauge.rofl That's what the fuel can holder on the step is for. Get a paint stirring stick and keep it in the cab......best way to guage the fuel in a deuce. Not to be a smart azz but did you open the fuel...

    1978 Oshkosh 911 Tractor and 747 trailer

We had a tank transport unit near us in Korea.....occassionally they would haul our tanks to the range verses road marching them along the tank trails......about a 30 mile drive. They are awesome but as pointed out they will suck the bottom out of the fuel tanks. I think that unit had a 1200...

    M916 for RV Build Project

Not meaning to be a smart azz but here again we have someone wanting to use a MV to do something it was never intended to do. I have no probs with modifications (I had a bob duece) but you have to weigh the cost and effort against what you are going to end up with. The M916/920 and larger...

    GL was easy!

With very few exceptions the GL people out in the trenches are good folks to work with. Most of my problems have been with mid-level management out in Arizona. Glad you had a good experience.

Making a Dump Trailer out of a M105 Frame?

105 springs are the second best set of springs for a bobber (front springs off a deuce being number one) so usually all of the trailer is used except the frame.

Top Few reasons for selling a deuce?

I think a lot of folks see them, think they are cool, buy one and then realize they aren't up to the care and feeding of the beast. It's kind of like owning an exotic animal.....you can learn to co-exist with it but if you're not careful it will end up biting you in the arse. These are (for...

Generator "heating" for easier cold weather starts

Where is the jenny located? I am from Alabama so have little or no experience in extreme cold weather starting. Common sense tells me that the genny needs to be in an insulated enclosure that could be heated with LPG or (in an emergency) wood. The air intake and exhaust can be ran out...

    bobbed deuce ideas

This was my bobber. The guy that bobbed mine mis-judged the axle distance so I couldn't use the M-105 bed I had. I ended up liking the flatbed better.....I made the dual exhaust myself. I vote for the first flag too.
