    2010 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

I have a big military gasoline powered air compressor that I would like to unload. It is pull start and I think it needs a fuel pump...it will run if you pour fuel in the carb but not run on its own. If there is any interest I will load it in the trailer and bring it with. Cash only on...

How to move a washing machine

It is far, far better to have a wrecker and not need it than to need a wrecker and not have it.

    The Alternator?

The alternator on a deuce (or M35A2) runs the same things that the alternator on any other vehicle runs. Keeps batteries charged too.

What do you think the odds are?

Once we got everything topped off she fired up and ran great. As an extra bonus there was at least two complete sets of Basic Issue Items equipment stuffed into the side box including a new set of slave cables.

What do you think the odds are?

It depends on which base it came from.....I got a deuce out of Fort Jackson, SC that all fluids had beed drained out of.....every other truck I got from various other bases still had all fluids. If I were to hazard a guess I would say it has something to do with a particular states...

He should be recommeded for the "Soldiers Medal".....it is given to soldiers for heroic action in a non-combat environment. When you get able you should have a word with his Station Commander.

    2010 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

Since we will be going to Durhamtown for a recon we should be able to get them to move the horses a few days prior to the start of the rally. If so any residual poo should be fairly solid and easy to move. I am also hoping to have the whole pasture bush hogged by Wed.

    2010 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

That would be the best idea...we can set up the drink containers and silverware/condiments on a table against one wall of the tent. In case of bad weather it can be BS central. Clinto and I will be doing a recon in a week or so and we will lay out where we need to set everything up.

    Site unseen; "engine doesn't start"

Not to rain on your parade but deuces seem to sell for more out west....supply and demand. There are more Army bases back here and that is where a lot of Nat Guard and Reserve trucks are being sold out of. You may be better off with a private selller. Good luck and welcome to the madness.

    2010 GA Rally Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

Streamline, We could really use a larger tent to use as a Mess Hall tent. My inflatable shelter is only 16x16 and has a slow leak (kind of like my inflatable girl friend). We want to set one up next to the MKT so folks can sit down and enjoy their meals. There should be plenty of labor to...

Shades of "Phantom 309"....ya did good son. "Big Joe" didn't make it but you lived to tell the tale. The lives of the kids can't be replaced...the truck can. That bus driver should be fired immediatly.

Towing a M915A1, Drop the Driveline, or pull the axles?

To flat tow (with a Heavy towbar) just drop the driveshaft and cage the brakes (Do not trust it to hold air while towing). If you hook airlines to the one being towed you can skip caging the brakes....just make sure they release when you charge the brakes on the towing vehicle.

AMG....your attendance is mandatory.........I'll add a surcharge onto the Possum Pot Pie. Maybe the folks you are hauling for can kick in a little fuel money. The rally would not be the same without you.
