OK folks...here are directions to the meeting place and details for the picnic: From Birmingham take I-59 north to exit 218 (Hwy 35), turn right off the exit and follow Hwy 35. When you get to the top of the mountain go a few miles and watch for road construction (they are building a new...

    Towing 2 m105a2 trailers?

Stacking one on top of the other is not difficult if you have a FL driver that has some experience doing it. You need to have some heavy duty ratchet straps to hold them together. Having some short boards to stick in the stake pockets is a good idea too. Keeps the top one from moving around.

Won my Deuce auction at GL----But!

The EUC goatf**k if totally unpredictable......I think it depends on who's desk it ends up on at GL and then at Battlecreek. I have waited weeks and then have had them clear in a couple of days after they got to BC. GL is like an unmarked box of chocolates......you never know if there are nuts...

to those of you who have changed tires

In my younger days I could beat them off the rims all day long.....now I just take them to the tire guy. $25.00 bucks a throw is well worth it.

    +/- A3 vs A2 Comments!

The M35A3 broke every KISS principle ever written. That being said...that is why this is the greatest country on earth.....we are free to choose vehicles that we consider "different". To each his own. I personlly think they are butt ugly and expensive to buy and maintain. As stated...

    Resurrecting a M275 Tractor. HELP!!!

Since I am culling the herd I have decided to keep my M275 and do a complete restoration (and a few upgrades) on her. The 816 and 915 have (most likely) been sold....that leaves the tractor and two deuces left in the Motor Pool. As much as I love the big iron my back and budget can only...

Time for a no nonsense, come to Jesus moment, about m1009

Here is Wreckerman's opinion on the M1009 and other "militarized" civy vehicles. I have driven and maintained all of them at one time or another in my military career. The Chevys were a stop gap between the M151 and the HUMVEEs. The 800 series Dodges were bought to bail Chrysler out when...
