I can only echo what's been suggested, ask your local law enforcement agency first, and don't draw too much attention to yourself and everything should be fine.
My Dad and I got ours from a private seller for $3,000 and put probably another $1,000 to
$1,500 into it.
Walter got his from GL for only $2,000 somthing (can't remember) but once you add up the costs of the new motor (old one was trashed) and some other assorted odds and ends he'll need...
It runs in my family, my Grandfather was a boilermaker for the Reading railroad, and HIS grandfather was an engineer for them back in the 19th century.
I took a lot of flak from my friends when I told them I had a copy of MS Train Simulator. And I play it regularly too! :D
Weight savings, I wanted to keep it for storage and it would make a cool display item for future car shows, I mean, that big OD box with all those stencilings and everything, it's super-neat, but there was concern the trailer couldn't take the load so I got overruled :( Guess I'll have to call...
Thank God, I thought I was the only person who did that......
Here's my favorite spot, Clifton Forge on the Central Pennsylvania Mainline of the Norfolk Southern (ex-Conrail, ex-PRR)
Once when I was very young, like 5 or 8 I remember a whole train load of tanks going down this line, in...
Polverone, that's the exact setup Dad and I used to do our deuce, Harbor Freight paint gun
It's pretty easy to paint a deuce, it's just TIME CONSUMING so make sure you can devote enough time to get it done over a weekend or so.
Pressure Wash
Use wire brush on drill to knock off any rust

Its attached to the underside of the cargo bed with one of those universal trailer-plate brackets that attach w/ 2 bolts, it's not lit because antique plates aren't required to be, (if the vehicle didn't have OEM lisence plate lights, you don't have to add them)...
FMV has a 1:35 scale deuce (M35A2) kit for sale, but you have to look on Ebay or a hobby shop that stocks some of the more high-end or obscure kits, can't get em from the rack at Wal-Mart
I've been looking into one for a while, I like to build 1:18 scale model muscle cars
The guage on the manifold is an oil pressure guage, (since removed) that we installed so we could monitor oil pressure of the motor while we were working on it, that way Dad and I could both be outside the cab at the same time.
The fender with the snipped air line was a replacement for the one...
It's easiest to take the whole fender off, front channel and all, we didn't when we replaced the fender on our deuce, and it was a bit tough getting those channel bolts off. Here's a pretty good picture of the whole assembly off the truck (Passenger's Side) You can see where some of the bolts...
You'd be surprised how many times a person will "buy" even a non auction car and then fail to come up with the money for it
The 77' Firebird I have was "bought" twice before I asked the guy about it, both times, the buyer never showed up or had to back out because of some other reason
vehicles...
The winch and bed cover is probably responsible for shooting the prices up on those trucks, there were a lot of other ones in the same lot that didn't have those fancy extras that probably would have been a better deal
This thread rules, because until now, I never knew that jetboat even exsisted, much less was enough of a tool to think that anyone would give him THAT kind of money
Someone should tell him you only get paid for information if it's WORTH somthing.
I know what the Capital of Nevada is, for...
