Justin did you bend the line as you went (test fit remove bend, test fit reove bend, etc.) or did you have a template?

If peeling you might sand it to remove the edge and then repaint. Otherwise most paint will adhere to it.

I was thinking of ditching my hardtop till I saw the price...now instead of replace I intend to repair. I'll be following this thread. I like the idea of improving the top, I'd like a visor, and possibly a roof rack.

From what I hear they tow just fine, sorta like a pup and dolly. That being said they don't back as easy. I think all of us could find a use. They have a weird tire size.

From what I've heard Barstow is pretty cool about wrenching in the yard.

I've pulled my M35 with a F350 when it had no batteries and was blocking a path in the backyard. It's quite the feat, would never do it more than a few feet. Hundy would be my first shot, he'd probably do as part of delivering new wheels and tires...:) Best to ask. You can figure a tow...

I got a few things laying around that may never see a truck again...I'll dig through the M35 and see what stands out.
