    states requiring fenders on trailers

I'm pretty certain dollies fall into the same realm as tractors. Fenders aren't required in all states... Your mileage may differ...

    states requiring fenders on trailers

That's kind of a barrel of bees... North Dakota does have fender rules and specifications for wheel coverings. However they are only found in the modified vehcile section and one other that the title escapes me atm. In either case the GVW and original configuration make those trailers...

Gl put my purchase in the abandonment section

No offense but I wish there was an abandoned section on GL. Sometimes lots go more than a few rounds...would be nice for those local to the auction site to just pick up abandoned crap people didn't want to ship or pick-up.

updated pics, 5 ton 4 door

Don't I wish...the one pictured is a marine version. Different manifolds... I think the 671 and the 12v92 are the same length, my concern was the width and your inner fender well.

Yeah I saw his and Soni's...no one let me drive theirs though... I kinda wanted to see Ross's M919 but we met at his shop not home. I think he's a little paranoid...LOL

    Trailer Connections M871

All steel framed trailers should be routinely inspected for cracks. The DOD just moth balled 200+ super trailers for cracks from the manufacture. We may see these as surplus in the future, depending on what the manufacture does... If anyone has 325 BF of Purpleheart for their trailer, let me...

    Trailer Connections M871

From the TM; Do not tow the M871 or M871A1 with M52, M52A1, or M52A2 truck tractor. The M52 five ton truck tractor’s inherent design capabilities are not compatible with the semitrailer, and if used would result in a serious compromise to the safety of personnel and equipment. When towing the...

    Dump truck suggestions...

Yeah that's where I got the idea...I'm never original. It was a 400. Assuming if and when I buy an M920 and it has a good motor that will be the donor...LOL

No help needed with M109 Restore..

Fog lights work best when closest to the roadway. I myself would have mounted them above the lowest protective point. In a off road vehcile things below that point usually get clipped right off. For me this would be in the bumper. Of above the axle...wonder what that would be like...LOL

How to - M916 5th wheel plate swap

Well in my mind I was comparing an equal heavy haul truck not just highway truck. There is quite the varying 5th wheel heights among equal trucks as well. At work the Sterling and Freightliner's have different pin saddle heights and they are equals as far as the AF is concerned. Sucks picking...

How to - M916 5th wheel plate swap

Yeah the lack of a spacer was already mentioned. And it has little effect on the M870. Actually I think the M920's original height was a little over the M870's design. It was after all designed for the standard over the road truck. I actually seriously looked at both for future applications...
