A search on the web indicated that there were only 32,000 ever produced for the military. And that includes the a1 and a2's. At the number that has been sold at times being as many as 300 a month It won't atke to long to hit bottom. What is not in our favor is the fact that the Deuce was in...
I know a few friends that have been burned on here by GL but, to be honest it was their fault in most cases. It clearly states that the pictures may not be correct. The fact that you took owner ship of it before you found the problem all but sealed your chances of any refund. The old fact that...
Great trucks , I would ck out the air pressure on the truck with the abs light on. Soft tops being torn or coming apart is very much a problem to these trucks..
Mine didn't work and I found a wire on top of the trans that was broken and just tied on top. I repaired it and now it works fine. Just trace the wire coming through the floor and make sure it isn't broken like mine was. I won't take but a minute to check........
Hello from Florence SC. I would call them and ask them if you can get the SF97 form for this truck if you purchase it. This is the title from GL that you will need to put the truck on the street. It contains all the info required to register the truck. With out it you will not be able to...
Most of the A1's came with the tire mounted on the inside of the trailer on the right front. It was a simple set up it consisted of a large wing nut and it screwed the tire via a round center plate to the side with a J bolt. It would cost under 25 dollars to duplicate the set up with simplicity...
Well you picked a fine MV to start with. I have always like the look of the front ends on those trucks. Their service record speaks for it's self and to be around that long in so many theaters of war I'm sure it will serve you well. Oh and welcome from SC...........
Glad it was a safe trip. But I have to ask why in the world would you go so far for a bed? I really would have to be given the whole truck to under take a trip like that :)
We have a backup camera on our new highlander and to tell you the truth I see it as a liability more than an asset. They do show what is behind you but, it is so limited as to it's field of view. They would be perfect for hooking up a trailer but thats all I can see as an advantage.
Very cool I love to see the Deuces get a new lease on life where they are still serving a great purpose. There are a few 923,s in SC that I have seen in the volunteer FD,s but I never seem to have my camera. Thanks for sharing.........
