Nice find I hope you are able to get a paint job on it in time. It has been the worse winter and spring for raining every other day here. I have had the paint for two months and it's still in the garage because of the weather. Good luck with her.....
Also the Marine version had drop sides that had 4 partitioned sections instead of two due to the size of the marine shipping containers. As stated the cabs on the 939s were the same size and will fit only the 939 series. These were designed to accommodate three in the cab.
Thank you Sir for your kind offer. It is a rare trait to find in these times and I am sure to contact you on more than one occasion with some really dumb questions in regards to the 923A1. Thanks again for your kindness........
If you had it over heat on you before replacing the fan you could have a blown head gasket. That is the only way I know of oil getting in the coolant. Its not likely you crossed the lines or by now you would also have water in the oil pan too.. Good luck finding the cause.....
I agree with wreckerman If you look you can see crack on the corner of the fender. If it was flapping in the wind and cracking the fender this may have been a temporary fix. Of course they could have put it on the bottom to hide it better. I know of nothing that could have been another reason...
Good to see all went well with the recovery. Like you said it is a good thing when you don't pay for it with another payment of blood and skin to boot............
Again zout nailed it on the head. It is like any other project you work on at some point it has to make good business sense. It looks from all the comments here that it may be a cross over of military and civilian. To me in the beginning the appeal to save a military jeep was a big part of your...
Well it's been a while sense I have seen this post up so I will bump it to the top "I hope". Is this still on for May ? I have spoken with a few new SC members that were unaware of any plans to get together. If not now would be a good time to know one way or the other...........
You know a friend of mine is a very well to do man and his favorite saying is( if you throw enough money at a problem you can fix anything ). I like the old school of do DIY. I am NOT a welder but, from what I have seen of your work you are. I hope they are what you intended them be and they...
Words of wisdom . You know it's strange I keep a small garden shovel and emergency stuff in my four-runner for when I go fishing or canoing. I just don't see the need for one in my five ton ,may be because I never go anywhere I have to worry about getting stuck. Dirt roads are far and few where...
Most of us on here do know the series numbers but instead of naming every model number in that series including the a1 and a2s it just a short cut of time for those who do know
On many of the trucks it is called a pioneer kit and it is most seen on the Deuce,s. I have seen some on the 800 series and a couple on the 900,s. The one that may work for you would be the one off of the jeeps. From what I have seen price wise it isn't worth it to me. Lets be honest if you bog...
Call your DMV and ask them . Do not trust what you read 2nd hand . It is likely that you will need a sf 97 because it is the title of the property you bought not just a bill of sale. In my state you don't have to register a small trailer and it is the reason they are stolen left and right too...
