The only problem I found was when I fixed the front clip a little while later the zipper on the back windows stitching came out too. So I would look at both then decide........
The main thing to consider also is does it have a clear title. I have to agree on the milage it is really high for the price. I would use it as a bargaining chip. Like most things its a matter of what you really want and what you will use it for. Good luck........
You guys did a nice job. I like the 109,s but they were to hard to come by without some major rust problems so I went for my 5 ton. But would still like to have one in the future it's good to see they are being preserved so well by guys like you ......
I think it is a 101 . I had a 101 and it looks to me like the one I had. I would like to see a side shot of the lugs on the wheels. The fact that it has the ndt,s and same basic frame design and the year of the trailer leads me to this conclusion .......
I'm glad you are going to be a part of this tribute. I had wanted to use my 923A1 for a few parades but, the time I have had to get it what I would consider worthy of such an honor is slow going. I always heard the older you get the faster time flies but, man someone needs to put the breaks on...
If you do a google search you will be reading for the next week. Ali express is a place to start for lower prices. Also a member on here insainjecke is well versed in the led world
Reminds me of the Lynard Skynard song that sang of the oak tree in his way LOL any wacky weed involved in the accident I really would understand if there were :). Kinda been there and done that you know Oh and yes I did inhale .......repeatedly.... ooooooh that smell
It will come off with a little urging from a pressure washer you just have to be careful doing it , Also Gojo and a soft brush should dissolve it and won't hurt the top.
I saw on here on another thread where future floor wax will give the paint a luster or if you wish a semi gloss appearance. I know the paint I bought to use when the weather is stable enough to paint is acrylic based so it should work like he said it would . I did a test spot on the bumper and...
I really hope it works and makes a noticeable power increase. A friend on here has modified a k&m To fit his 816 but hasn't put the engine back to running order yet so we haven't been able to see if it is better or worse than stock. Keep us posted on your findings please..........
Ken I also have a 923A1 and mine has about a pint of oil in the housing and on the bottom 3rd of the filter. The oil is to trap any of the fine dust and dirt that may fall into the bottom of the can. Although this is not standard practice I feel it is a modification that was made in the desert...
Mine is 10 ft to the top of the tire rack boom. I have seen many shipped on here even two at a time on the drop bed frames so you shouldn't have a problem.
I did custom wood work for more years than I care to remember and Sparky had the best plan to resolve the issue. The only problem with steaming the wood is it is more likely to warp or flatten out in time due to humidity and heat. The laminated boards will hold their shape forever and with a...
I am not and never will claim to be a transmission mechanic so I am of little help to you but, I had to tell you whom ever you bought the truck from sounds like a stand up guy. You are far luckier to have found him than the truck. Having said that you may want to use the same good judgment and...
I have always suspected the main reason was due to the short life span of the multi fuel combined with the poor power out put. Even with experimentation of the turbo projects the power was at best marginal. I am sure some where in a little room that doesn't exist someone said enough of this and...
Like Breach27 said the A1,s look cool and are by far the better tire for mud and sand but, this comes at a cost. The truck tends to float when you get above 40 MPH. To make matters worse the tires are almost impossible to balance. I also don't care for the fact that regardless of which tire if...
Hi if it was me I would spend some time looking for a bed to cut down or find one already made like the 105 beds that may inter change. If you know a good welder or weld yourself it should be an easy fabrication to just add sides and a tail gate. Are you planning on going to the meet and greet...
