Need to bump the motor over or turn it over with an 18mm socket and extension until the lobe that works the pump is pointed away from the fuel pump. That should help. Really cold grease on the end of the push rod will help hold it in place...
Up under the dash on the left side of the steering wheel and/or pull the instrument cluster. It helps if you have hands like ET, which I don't... So it ends being a tight struggle.
I can't seem to find one by itself, but I need the metal or plastic bracket holder that secures the voltage gauge to the instrument panel.... Wondering if anyone had an extra one laying around I could purchase? Thanks.....
Remove the front and rear rims. Tie the tire to a large tree. Loop a tow rope around the run flat. Attach the other end to a tractor or another hmmwv. Pull the run flat out..😁
I had a similar problem with my 998. I checked and replaced all the parts and pieces leading up to the can clutch, hoping I wouldn't have to pull the radiator stack.....it ended up being the fan clutch....😫. Worked great after that and all the other pieces were "new". You did a great job at...
There appears to be about 8-10" from the top of the rear tire to the fender well. Since it has independent suspension the wheels would angle inward as the suspension was compressed. I can't confirm 100% as I haven't been rock climbing......so take this with a grain of salt.
They looked everywhere on the truck and couldn't find one(obd) plug in...me either. Can't believe someone on here hasn't tried to figure this out. It would be much easier using the regular handheld code scanners.
Mogman, different question. On the transmission controller is there a cable that connects to the TCM and has a regular OBD scan plug on the other end. I went through the 4L80E troubleshooting guide but didn't see one, maybe I just missed it. The owner of my local transmission shop asked me about...
Then my switch must be stuck where it's telling the TC not to go into lock because I drove it yesterday and it didn't stall at at a stop.... Time for a new switch assembly anyway.
