I plumbed in a short nipple extension and a gate valve.
Real easy to pull handle to drain. I also have a pvc plug hand tight in the other side to unscrew by hand easily to keep the mud daubers and like out.
not off hand but slop on anti seize on the shaft through the frame and liberally coat both sides of the washer. More slop/goop the better. Also liberally apply to the 2 pins that engage. You will thank me down the road.....
Purely spitballling but I would think they are amphenol connectors and maybe digi-key. Their numbering system I have not mastered as it is crazy with all the variants and options....
I can't speak to the specs but installed one I got off ebay and they are not real thick (maybe a 1/16-1/8 ) or very heavy. They typically have a sound barrier/insulation inbetween the tailgate and the armour plus mounting holes and straps for the max ax kit.
They probably offer protection...
Vehicles with high center of gravity are prone to rollover as they are higher mass off the ground. Low center of gravity brings it closer to the ground and more stable.
You can just read it also. Typically it has a part number and a description of the alt.
I am spit balling but I think you have a 100amp and using a 200 amp install kit. Main bracket I think is different. You would have to dig in the tm to see what are the correct pieces/mounting etc and wiring...
See if the alt has a part number?
It just looks different to me but could be the picture.
I saw a reference online to a single volt 200amp unit but have never seen one.
Kendalrio did one within the last year on his m923 and someone else here had posted on a successful vin registration.
They are probably confusing the vin inspection which is required for the stencil.
State police or any post certified officer can do it. I never had a problem getting one done...
Vin stencil is the cheapest as a lifetime registration.
Military plate uses a sticker like others and needs to be renewed.
Farm plate might be also cheaper. I have not done that.
If you do the vin or military plate. I would go to Baton Rouge special and prestige plate unit. They are not busy...
The originals are subject to rust/rot. I had to replace mine. Flange and pipe broke off on both ends.
There is a revision in the design for newer ones. My new one is marked REV A. I suspect the metal content is different. 86humv informed us in another thread there is a galvanized and stainless...
That is not a good sign. Change oil right away. What is the level on the dipstick? Typically fuel pumps dumping into oil will read high and have strong odor.
