I top out at 69 with 24 bolt and BFG baja load range D as they are taller than the earlier goodyear radials which gave 65-67 highway. Stock 6.2L with 3 spd.
I misunderstood your problem. I was referring to the trailer. I had it the other way around.
Maybe remove springs from the m101 to lower it? It would decrease your weight rating but maybe riding level will help?
The folks on the cucv forum can help on the lift as I am not well versed with...
What are you towing with? How are the lights wired- 4 flat, 7 round, military plug? Those bottom lights are blackout and with a civy truck, would not come on. Shoot pics of your wiring set up? Might just not have the wires id correctly?
They scrapped 100's of m939's & other mv's & trailers out of shelby as they were literally down the road from one of the lots. He also had a lot of m116 flat beds. Not sure if he has any trucks left but a few years ago I got lots of parts from him and had access to his scrappers. Not sure if he...
You can add a spring(s). My m101a2 had a higher weight rating and a lift kit installed for extended capacity as it was some type of gizmo trailer. Might need longer u bolts but should not be difficult to do.
Sounds like a ground issue. Check all grounds and make sure your hitch to the truck is clean and free of rust. Trailer might not be getting a ground from truck.
Welcome to the madness!
There used to be a large amount for sale in Purvis on Hwy11 next to the cement plant.
You also have a great resource of CsmDavis - Jeff in your neck of the woods.
We are possibly doing the next rally in Poplarville, Stay tuned!
stepping down to a 15 will negatively affect your gvwr as a 15 rim & tire will not carry the same load. 15 inch 8 lug will probably be a specialty trailer item. Try e trailer or croft.
That might be why the guy on epay with the gray plastic one for $125 offered his as it has a groove for the bulkhead to rest into. I did not realize he had improved the design.
The black aluminum one on epay for $150 is just an L.
Croft trailer sells all the parts. It is a common civy unit. Rust in there probably from a missing master cyl cap. Flush out lines and check wheel cylinders at each wheel. Use DOT 5 as that is what the system is supposed to have.

You can also get 6tl at O'reilly's. My son works there and that is where I get them.
NAPA does also sell. Just a word of caution as in another lifetime I was a NAPA distribution warehouse manager, Check the date codes.... They don't sell many and they tend to sit a long time before being...
He must have someone making an aftermarket reproduction for him. When I searched epay, I also noticed another guy selling an aluminum black reproduction for $150 but it does not look like he has the groove for the cargo divider to slide into and just a few rivet holes.
Looking good and I have been wanting to do the same. The OE moulding uses a rope type seal underneath it to seal against the wavy surface.
Am General does make that piece I think it is abs or some type of plastic but it has been on back order for quite some time. Unfortunately because it is a...
Most brands and part stores use standardized numbering. 15 is the series which is equivalent to the 7 series in gates which is roughly a 3/8 most common for old school vbelts. NAPA of course likes there own unique way to number everything....... 17 series translates to a 9 in gates and are...
The cap looks like a regular one with a nipple threaded on the top for the small spaghetti hard tubing. They can be found on epay. Search m998 HMMWV deep water fording.
hard to read the instructions as not clearly written and search on here for other threads for extensive posts but vent lines go to the hydroboost, power steering cap, cdr valve, air filter, sensor cup, and tie into the main vent lines for the hubs etc
