I ran a separate ground wire from the gauge to the firewall and it's not working. Gauge is getting 24v. And 24v is leaving the gauge and the wire going from gauge to sender is new. Not sure what else could be wrong but the sender because none of the other gauges are malfunctioning. Just an odd...
My old oil pressure gauge stopped working. Installed a new gauge and still nothing changed. I have 24v going through line 27 and 24v leaving the gauge to head to line 36 to the sending unit. Ran a new wire to the old sending unit and nothing changed. Installed a new sending unit now and the...
Today I moved my dads ford compact diesel tractor on the m1061a1 back home. Drove great behind the truck. Truck did great at 50 mph. Trailer has had alot of use since finishing it.
I have also thought of this plan. Originally looked at a s280 but I'm now really considering putting my s250 on it and using that for sleeping in and then the rest of the space as a deck for my girlfriends and mine m274a2 mule to strap down for camping and shows and then when the mules not on...

Today I finished the emergency tank drain pull cable. Bought 3/32 steel cable and a swaging tool and finished up the trailer. Took it on its first voyage and picked up a large number of US army pallets. (These were not light.) Trailer did great. No wagging or pulling to either direction...
Today I finished painting the trailer. Got 2 coats of marine corps forest green (34052) on the trailer. Added new reflectors and stainless steel hardware. Painted glad hands. Removed tape from data plates. Shined the tires. Trailer looks as new as its going to get. Very pleased with the...
Today I moved the trailer so I could get some sun on it and sanded with 40 grit to scuff the surface. Wiped down with xylene and then rolled 1 gallon of herculiner on the bed surface. Taped up the taillights and tomorrow painting the trailer marine corps forest green.
I replaced all zerk fittings on the trailer and greased everything up. Clearly there wasn't much grease or any grease in any of the zerk fittings. Definitely made a difference on the brake handles, and jack stands. Next step is scuffing the trailer and putting down bedliner and then paint.
Yes sir, I use them. The previous owner did not and before that I'm sure that's why stuff got inside them. That won't be an issue again that's for sure.
Decided to replace the air filters on the m1061a1. Look at the corrosion inside the old one. It looks solid instead of a copper filter. New one you can see the nice copper mesh. Trying to take the old ones out I broke the u-bolts. After new u-bolts, put it back together and now when I hit and...
