I would say +1 on just using an interlock, unless you were going to get fancy with an automatic transfer switch. I looked at several options for manual switches, and didn't like the setup. I actually ended up installing a subpanel (my main panel is so old it was hard to find an interlock, plus...
On top of your house not being a load bank, you'd probably find it's mostly a very ineffective load bank... unless you go out of your way with your stove/drier/water heater/heat pump (and the last one will probably be too much to start without a soft starter, unless you have a newer variable...
Anything pre-'99 works, Ford went to metric wkth Super Duties in '99. I believe Dodge changed (to the same) in the teens sometime? Not positive when... believe GM is the lone holdout still using 8x6.5" & not 8x170mm.
F-4040-A (which I believe is the 'standard' neon yellow, but I usually search for that specifically) has "heating fuels" & "small engine fuel lines" both as "typical applications"... actually, on further looking, LP-1100 as well is listed on their site as being diesel fuel resistant.
I have a...
I've never kept the military connector, so I just bring 12v bulbs (you can leave the 24v ones, but they're dim) and a 7-pin on about 6' of cable... I just bring use Wago connectors. Pull all the rubber connectors, snip the 3 you need, and hook up the Wagos.
If you have a friend with an older...
008-201-9 is what you want. Same seal & inner bearing, different outer bearing (and unfortunately different cap/Bearing Buddy too) Also need new lug nuts as they come with 1/2" studs (which is good since Toyota wheels use 12mm studs), Gorilla 91188XL, or early 90s F150 or E150 lugs if you want...
I was in for a good bit of the time these trailers were... granted I was in transportation, so it's not like we needed a Humvee trailer.
I don't remember ever seeing one, besides maybe generator trailers, in use around Bragg. I might have run into someone dragging trash to a trash pit in Iraq a...
Ah, then you'd want to follow Option B. If you wanna grt fancy, you could make a pigtail & leave it hanging out of the cable port, with something like a 1-pole Anderson Powerpole so you can disconnect it easily.
You're generally going to use the building ground... assuming you're going to use it hooked up to a building with its own electrical system. (And from there, assuming you're connected to the building in such a way that the normal grounding is still connected- this is usually, but not always, the...
It'd seem like if they were shill bidding (well... OK... shill bidding without seriously cheating since the auction house is also the "seller" and knows your max bids) then there'd be a decent frequency of the shill bidder (who is also the seller & the house) accidentally winning... and...
There was a lot of 2 at LEAD this week, both missing inverters, and they didn't mention engine condition or have vid of them running or trying to start.
Pre-bidding ran up to $1400, it ended right around $2000. I was interested for 'pair of parts machines that probably have at least 1 running...
Wouldn't be difficult, grab one of those bolt-on receiver tube/safety chain hookup dealies, move the clearance lights, and bolt it to that rear crossmember.
I'd start to get worried about total weight though. The frame of the 1101 is plenty strong, the suspension is plenty strong... I question...
My experience so far is the AC gauges get messed up mechanically. Load gauge on my 831 didn't budge, ended up opening it up figuring I had nothing to lose... and was very correct, the internals were all rusted up.
Had the same with the voltage gauge on the 802, and I was afraid I was going to...
I just got a working load gauge on mine last month & the power hasn't really gone out since, so I'm no help. I'm not sure I could overload mine with enough granularity anyway... it's fine with almost any of my 120v loads (except the time my kid tried to make toast while using the microwave) it...
Yes, AFAIK that's correct operation- if you apply too much load, the contactor coil circuit opens.
It is kinda confusing, since there's a light for "overload/short circuit" on the fault indicator. I just got my "parts" machine, which runs but has a bad inverter... the overload light is always...
While I wait to see if my "parts machine" will just dry out its inverter, here's a pic of the original battery it came with (yay, free core to return against the 2 I bought for the 802A) versus a pair of 20s gorilla taped together. Almost a perfect match!
The latches on the lid can indeed be adjusted in slots, the nuts & bolts are 8mm or 5/16". Loosen the bolts just enough, move the latch til it's too tight, then latch them about 2/3 of the way, stop & tighten the hardware there.
You can use anything from about a 14, up to a 20 size motorcycle...
Have you tried that Rustoleum tan yet? I went out of my way to get some for my trailer, cuz I generally find Rustoleum to be some of the best spray paint commonly available. It was awful, developed huge cracks no matter what I tried, and several cans had nozzle problems 1/2 way through. Looked...
