Cab air bleed depends. Does it stop after a minute or so? If so, your cab is just leveling. If it doesn't stop, you may have a leaky airbag.
The cycling you hear on the passenger side is the valve. Should take only 5 minutes or so.
Hey there!

That's the transmission sampling hose. Coupled into the oil line @ the cooler fitting. Removing for now, I might get a spare made, still on the fence due to Mr Murphy.
With it having already failed like this with nothing near the flipping thing, kinda don't want to put it there again.
This little punk was the issue. Getting a new hose made, it was the leak.
They degreased most of the engine, missed the worst of the oil inside the frame rail.
Removed the oil sampling hose and fittings. It's not a 1/4 pipe, it's a goofy automotive one.
Since oil is everywhere I can't tell what the now oil fog that's ever where is coming from, new leak or oil burning off. Getting engine degreased at truck wash.
Fun fun fun! At least it's in the low 80s
Sweet! I'm hoping it's that fitting and not the oil cooler..... my fan did the same thing but I'm hoping the leak is misting and the fan is painting with the mist.
Raised the cab yesterday, found oil had sprayed all over the lower passanger side of the engine. I think it's coming from where the oil sampling port hose attaches to the transmission oil line.
Does anyone know the size fitting so I can just cap it off? I want to remove both the hose and the 90...
I had a similar problem. Change out your thermostat (16 bucks at my cat dealer, belts are 4) and your belts. I added a water wetter from walmart, 2x bottles, that helped too.
This is the screw that holds the panel shut right?
I removed mine, much easier to service it and it stays shut.
I'll see if I can find it, if so, it's yours.
Oh, been meaning to ask, with the hubs. Front one, obvisouly change the hub oil, 11oz of gear oil also drain and refill the pumpkin. Rear ones, do you drain and change out via the hubs or would draining the pumpkin and refilling it be enough?
Asking because theres the same plugs on the rear as...
I'm surprised we didn't see each other! I was out and about today as well!
Fan only ran when I started up and down the hills on 64 in town and country. Think it's been solved with the thermostat and belt change.
Took a longer run today. It has switched from 1 minute off, 30 seconds on to 2 minutes off, 20 seconds on when going over flat terrain.
It also seems to keep cool better when parked, fan didn't kick on once when I stopped for a few minutes at Autozone.
A note to those changing their...
Sitting at my local cat dealership. They say it's NOT normal for the system to be kicking off that much and they suspect it's the thermostat going bad. Changing it and the water belt today, I'll post the results.
