There sure is a number stamped in the frame, its visible under the left front fender. I'd be willing to bet its not really a M51, but a M51A1, so the VIN will start M723 if it came with a winch from the factory, or a M51A2, in which case the VIN will probably begin 9523. HTH, David Doyle
