Okay looks like a good truck did you put on a single 3" exhaust? It really needs dual 3" not single it should have had dual exhaust from the factory. And yeah mufflers really needed on non turbocharged engines

You could possibly shoehorn one in out of a M35 or 5 ton, I would use a LDS out of a 5 ton, it is same size on the outside but more horsepower and use the M35 nonoverdrive transmission because it is smaller than the 5 ton transmission. This not a good way to be OPEC independent in your part of...
Yes on both air bag questions, if you will search on here someone has already replaced the seat springs with air bags. Also Profo has added the bags as Simp said but last time I asked I thought he had found a sweat spot for them and liked it.

Yeah I know what you mean about the kids, but on my 939 series trucks I just let all the air out and unhook the ground on the batteries, then no matter what they do the truck won't do anything. I have big kids (adults) get in and even had one bet he could drive off, he lost.

You can use snaps or a flip under edge like the newer jeeps, a good upholstery shop will be able to make a nice rear window with the right attachments.

Don't choke your engine a single 3" won't be enough or help the rear flow. Two 3" would be a great addition and good mufflers will quieten it down.

There are 10's of thousands of blazers out there. Your speculation is not needed, there has been soft tops for these trucks for a long time so we know that you will not die. That is why I called you chicken little, you are saying things are dangerous based on your faulty rear window. Jeeps...
Ignore chicken little, it doesn't have to be air tight but tighter is better for many reasons. I have been looking at adding rear hatch from a jeep or camper shell or older blazer
