Yeah there is three total layers of insulation, one layer of what looks like jute, duct taped to the perforated drop aluminium ceiling. The next is 1 and 1/2" foam board behind sheets of aluminium held up by rivets into the wood spacers which is held up by screws that go into the aluminium...
The TM even list the weights you can lift without outriggers so you do not always need them before lifting. Does he have to much in the air maybe I don't know how much that trailer weighs or what he is doing with it. This thread is about wrecker mods not lifting practices so let's get back on...
Well i have now dug in deep into the roof and it's not good there is wood with steel screws into aluminium, dang could they have made a better rust and corrosion attracting setup?

Okay I will wade in here get or borrow an inspection camera and look in the bell housing through the bottom hole that you can put a plug in or through the access port on the side. Also will be easier to pull just the transmission if you can get a large transmission jack if not, then pull motor...
Yeah well my inside roof panels are sagging now looks like the drop ceiling braces were holding it up. Guess I will be opening it up all of the rivets are steel core aluminium, I hate disimular metal contract it always has corrosion issues.
