The large number of items in the For Sale forum makes it hard to find parts specifically for certain trucks. Would it be possible to have a “Hmmwv For Sale” section for example? Same with the Parts Wanted.
Look at hmmwv parts listed on Alibaba. You’d be surprised how much knock off garbage is listed when you search “hmmwv”. I’m sure it’s where a lot of these vendors get this garbage.
What I’m actually moving is a Volvo c303. Will be driving about 5.5 hrs on highway. About 5300 lbs. 90” wheel base. So about 40” less wheelbase than hmmwv but about same weight. I figured I should be able to balance on the trailer to get tongue weight ok. Maybe?
How did you find it-did it work well? I checked the specs out and my hitch (stock F150) is only rated at 5000lbs unless I have weight distributed setup. And sounds like uhaul doesn’t allow the WDH on their trailers.
Anyone have a 4 man truck handy that can measure those rear floor channels to the back wheel well? Just wanting to install my floor channels the same location as factory.
