The o-ring should be snug, not 1/2" too big. I think you've got a problem with your o-rings, wrong ones or wrong size.

Thanks for your service and glad you made it back safe! I gave up trying to dismount deuce tires. After attempting a few it made my tire mans fee well worth while. Good job on chaining the tires during inflation, I hope everyone does that.

I made one bad batch. I used a spare deuce tank to transfer fuel and after it was too late I discovered it had some reddish "bio diesel" sludge in the bottom of it, now in my truck's tank. I've run thousands of miles with no filter clogging, and changed filters twice with this one tank full!
