Although it's been a couple of years, I purchased a pair of brand new sprags 2520-00-513-5811 (at a great price) from Steel Soldiers member NDT.
You can replace the sprags without removing the transfer case, just the front driveshaft output cover.
A friend of mine purchased two deuces from Ft. Sill about a year ago.
Both truck's tanks were almost full but had a couple gallons of the stickiest reddish/brown sludge I'd ever seen in the bottom of them. We drained the tanks and the only thing that would dissolve the remaining sludge that was...

I'll see if I can find it again.
Stuart,
I double checked what i thought I knew, and you are right! Attached is a viscosity chart.
Smokewagon66,
I've got the manufactures documentation regarding the transfer case (it's posted here in the thread) and their recommendation for SAE50, but don't have any docs for the...
Here's a list of autoignition temps.
WMO has an autoignition point of anywhere from 500 to 700 degrees fahrenheit, depending on what's in it. Shell Rotella T 15W40 oil, according to the MSDS, has an autoignition point of 608 F.
