    Low/no oil pressure

Many thanks. I went to advance auto a d got the mechanical just to troubleshoot. $20 is a lot cheaper than $5000 for an overhaul on the suspicion it was a sender, and not the oil pump.

    Low/no oil pressure

Months ago, i noticed my oil psi was getting low according to the gauge. After months of not running, Yesterday, i started it up and noticed the psi at 0, but would start climbing, the more throttle i gave it. Today, after finishing up the new muffler delete instal, i fired it up and the oil...

    FMTV tire/wheels

Where you getting orings for $3? Every place iv looked at are well more than $3. What will leaving the regulator do for balance? Leaving the ctis junk on the 5tn rim, w/o the counterweight causes an out of balance at hwy speed.

    FMTV tire/wheels

Picked up my 395/85 tire/wheel assy yesterday. I ended up with 1 new, 1 80% tread and 5 90+% tread with titan rims that are countersunk on both sides for the lug nuts. Im wanting to remove the CTIS filling line, and what looks to be a 1 way valve, and instal a normal valve stem. I found them for...

    Horsepower

Did you find out what the grinding noise was? Since fluids and levels were good. Could it be the final drive at the hubs?

5Ton Combat rims on 395 MVTs install for Beginners!

yes sir, iv got a countersink bit for 3/8"-3/4" hole, and the bit for the rim/nut would be about $75-100. I'll probably put them up for sale first, then go from there.

5Ton Combat rims on 395 MVTs install for Beginners!

Ahhhh, gotcha. Well, thank you sir. Iv got 13 5 ton rims, so hanging onto them if they aren't dual beveled would be moot.

5Ton Combat rims on 395 MVTs install for Beginners!

5Ton Combat rims on 395 MVTs install for Beginners!

Thanks for the vid. When i broke down my 14R20s, i guess the bead stuck up far enough, the bead ring pressed down enough on the tire bead, they aired up no problem. I did just win some mv/t 395s on what looks like lmtv rims. probably gonna have to break them down and fit them on my 5 ton rims...

    M936A2 aftercooler removal

Surface cooling area is 4” thick, 10” tall and 26” wide with 3 or 3.5” inlet/outlet tubes. my initial use for the intercooler was for my tig torch and plumb in the coolant lines and rig up a dual 120v ac fan to help chill the torch coolant. But if it’ll work on the 8.3, even better. if not...

@WildernessJeep did you ever get your front winch figured out?

    M936A2 aftercooler removal

Out of curiosity. Would an intercooler out of 1 of these new model ram diesel pickups provide enough cooling volume for the 8.3? I got into a bumper bender and my intercooler has a minute ding in it and the body shop replaced it and gave my “old” cooler. I pressure tested it and it held 60 psi...

Welding to Medium Towbar? Also, Moving Sea Containers!

A little late to question. But, i took some drill pipe, tack welded spindles to it, put some tires on my new made axel and placed the axel under the back end of the conex. I then took a chain, threaded it through the holes on each bottom side and brought it over the 3 pt lift hitch for my...

    Stuck M936

I don't remember, and i am in chili, sa till the middle of the month, or i would go fire mine up and mess with it. i think, away (push towards the passenger side is engaged). So, in might might refer to engaged/line in, and out refers to disengaged. I am assuming you can line in and line out...

    Stuck M936

It would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with your equipment before you hurt someone or yourself. Do the front brake chambers look like the rear chambers? Google service brake chamber, then google service/parking brake chamber. They look nothing alike. My 936A2 has double chambers...

    M989A1 build

We did that with my previous employer to maneuver our chinook around airports if we could ground taxi. We had a 2" receiver bolted in place of 1 of the recovery eye rings on the ram 4500, and had a pintel hitch that we would install and hook our tow bar up to. It took some practice, getting to...

    M989A1 build

@Mullaney Couldn't you just tie in to the airline with 2 valves and a Tee? All between the leveling valve and the bag supply line, with 1 staying put under the trailer, a shielded cable or a push/pull rod, that closes off air directly out of the level valve. The sec, same set up, cable or rod...
