A couple of more mods done over the last week. I added a mechanical oil pressure gauge because i have had electric ones fail in the past.
I also added an air pressure gauge for my wet tank pressure. A good indicator for air compressor trouble.
I installed the electric fans that Suprman is selling. Installation was fairly easy and straightforward. I haven't driven the truck in hot weather but I have only had the truck's mechanical fan come on after wide open throttle on the interstate.
My guess is a bad wheel valve. I had the same issue once. It ended up being a bad wheel valve. Trace which dump valve it is then you have it narrowed down to two wheel valves.
The driveshaft yokes, both front and rear have to be lined up or parallel. There isn't a master spline so they can be put in wrong very easily. The front and rear yoke on each driveshaft have to be aligned as you're looking down them, not 90 degrees or whatever from each other. They were...
Bad hub seals tend to squeal.
" When I went to inflate, there was a very high pitch squeal coming from the rear duals area, but no air from the dump valves " Air is not supposed to come from the dump valves when inflating.
You do understand that all of the tires are connected to one air line coming from your PCU and that it can't drain just the front tires? All six tires inflate and deflate together.
Only way to keep constant pressure on the system is to remove the outlet hose from your PCU in the cab and apply regulated air pressure to it. I can't remember if it's the black or yellow one.
Are you sure that all 4 wheel valves on the rear are tight on the nipples coming out of the hubs, no leaks? Front wheel valves tight on the hubs with the o-ring in place? All hose fittings tight? It sounds like you have a big enough leak to fault out the system during it's initial pressure check.
