I was able to find a Used Insteument Bezel. I think it’s safe to say mine is on its way out the door. I’ve had to Gorilla Glue it more than once and those holes for the sockets seem to be worn out. I’ll report back once I’ve got the used bezel and if things still don’t work I’ll test the wiring...
Hey Man! Thanks for the info, I’ll try your suggestions. Rick do you have any ideas/suggestions?
I’ll report back! :)

I recently took the dash out of my CUCV M1009. I replaced the circuit board behind the dash, painted the speedometer needle, polished the clear plastic cover, etc.
While I was putting it all back together, the plug that plugs into the back of the dashboard touched a piece of metal and sparked...
So it was a Bad Connection, up by one of the lights. There’s a bullet type connection that was disconnected. The plastic sleeve that was covering it was all soft and stretchy, which I think was actually keeping the connection from occurring. As one of you said don’t just settle for wiggling a...
It does have a relay mounted on the wall. While trying to figure out why the lights weren’t working I went ahead and switched it out with a new one. I also discovered there are 2 fuses near the relay, which I also switched out. I figured why not! Thank you for the advice sir! :)

*Site it is!! That’s what I get for writing way too early in the morning!!
You are correct about that wiggling wire. I’ll have to see exactly where it is. Once I do I’ll wrap it up and make it pretty!!
Thanks for the heads up, you’re out of *sight brother!! ;)

I heard back from the previous owner. He never even hooked the light up!
I discovered my neighbor is an auto electrician, go figure! He was kind enough to help me out. We spliced into one of the wires going up into the brake lamp area. So far so good!!
Thank you for your help everyone...
*Update*
The problem ended up being one of the wires that was tucked away under the metal plate that’s right there where/near the area you step on to get into the cab. I just wiggled it around and it now works. I think I’ll zip tie and tape it up with some nice cloth electrical tape.
Another...
*Update*
It was indeed the Glow Plug Card. I exchanged it: once I installed the New one I immediately could see the ground bulb light up. No problems ever since!!
A Huge thanks to @Rocknus (Johnny) &
@Squibbly. I’d be lost without the input.
Thank You all! Thank You!!

Update, I found the location for the Climate Control bulb!! Thank you for the info, that helped!!
As far as that hanging bulb, I discovered it goes to the Oil Pressure Gauge. The bozo mechanic who installed it never snapped the light into place!!

While digging around under the dashboard, I found this hanging bulb. It’s hanging down behind the Oil Pressure Gauge which is to the Left of the Voltmeter.
I’m guessing it’s the bulb for the climate control. There’s no light near the climate control. I’m assuming that because the bulb for...
I heard back from the previous owner. He never hooked up the light for the license plate. That explains why I can’t find where to connect it!
Johnny hooked one up to his truck, but I don’t know how exactly.
If anyone has an idea how to do it please let me know.

It could simply be the bulb needs replaced for the Map Light. I’m right handed so I just layed on my back on the passengers side floor board and reached up to get that bad boy out.

That’s all looking great!! I wish I had you and Johnny as neighbors. I’d be in CUCV heaven!!
I’ve been in the fence about putting LEDs in the dash. What do you guys think? Any good or bad points about using LEDs?

I noticed your dashboard is gray. My is too, but I thought it was replaced. Did the CUCVs come stock with a gray dash I wonder??
