    hemtt shafts problem

You need to pay more attention to the UOC listings... (UOC stands for "Usable-On-Code", with the different codes explained in the introduction, page 6 of the parts book TM 9-2320-279-24P) Fig. 182 - Item #3 shows two different part numbers because there is one for the H04 & H40 codes (M984 &...

    Flywheel clutch info needed

I have always used them in-distinctively, on either engine. Balancing counterweight and relative placement is exactly the same.

    New member from Spain!

For now, the CUCV Forum would be the right section to post pics and description of your M1009. But with all those planned modifications/upgrades, the CUCV Hot-rodding and Modification Forum might be better fitting.

    M35a2 6x6

Of course, you can try the flushing method first, if that means less work (and cost) for you. But in order to pull the front output section you don't need to drop the whole TC. Disconnect the front DS and just unbolt 10 cap screws attaching that part to the main housing. ... From underneath the...

Need help from the experts. M35A2 Winch

All that, for $50??? No, you didn't win it... , you stole it!:) Grade-5 hardware will work and Grade-8 is perfect... Anyway, be prepared to pay more than $50, just for the hardware!

    M35a2 6x6

If so, then why not just pull the front output section off of the T-case? Then, disassembling it and inspecting these sprag clutches is no big deal at all. (all covered in TM 9-2520-246-34, Section VIII, Fig. 4-46 or TM 9-2520-246-34-1, Table 2-39) So far, all of the (known) low-mileage...

Country is right, those are the good-old welded version, winch brackets and frame extensions. Actually, they are stronger than the stamped ones, IMHO. You may compare yours to the dimensions posted here... (if still in doubt).

has anyone taken injectors apart on this forum?

There is tension, but only for the last couple threads before it gets tight, while assembling. So no, nothing will fly apart... To disassemble, put the injector upside down in a vise (protected with aluminum jaws!) and clamp very firmly(!) Then use your 30mm deep socket to crack it open. Be...

    R.I.P.--73M819--Ron Harris

Yeah, sadly the list keeps growing... But then there is this saying: "A man is not dead while his name is still spoken"... Pretty sure "KG-Ron-Older-Than-Rock" will live-on here on SS, for generations!

recent problem with Wolverine Technologies LLC

While the item wasn't directly offered/sold through our classifieds it still is a deal done between two members of this site. "Avengeusa" (as Wolverine...) hasn't been active here since 2012, but he isn't banned either, and his posts about his "24V upgrade kit" (like in this thread) are still...

    hemtt shafts problem

The OP said his is an M983 and that he broke the rear U-joint on the rear inter axle-shaft, plus the corresponding input yoke on axle #4. Now, according to TM 9-2320-279-24P1, Fig. 168, Item #4, those particular U-joints are of the smaller 1610-series (5-279X). It seems that only the M984 and...

Here you go... The only one copper washer is used to seal the "nozzle nut" against the cyl head.

recent problem with Wolverine Technologies LLC

Really? So you never read all the (good) things that people said about you... and then never left any feedback in return....??? To view Feedback it's only a few clicks away: 1. 2. 3. 4.1. 5.1. ......or just one click on that small number (17) after "Feedback Score", last line...

recent problem with Wolverine Technologies LLC

Still until today - and after more than one bad experiences - "avengeusa" (= Wol-tech) has received only one total feedback so far, and that one was clearly positive...(!) So, folks, let's use the tools we already have on hands. Little does it help our community if members systematically...
