    M35A2 runaway problem

On the shutoff lever, When I replaced my HH o-rings, mine hunted really bad and I found that the problem was that I had the two screws too tight that hold the fuel shutoff valve. It is the two that get safety wired. I loosened them up to where they were basically finger tight and that fixed it.

Observations from first time on the road

Took the M1097A2 on a road for first time and have an issue with the tires bouncing from time to time and steering wheel doing the shuttering back and forth. Comes and goes and figure it may be due to the tires sitting in one spot for probably a few years. Only other real issue I found was a...

    Inspect your MV's....

Also found that I have no CDR...I know the fording one was smashed but I kinda thought they would have installed a regular one. Does it really matter if I have one or not?

    Wet Stacking?

I/we would let them idle for hours and hours keeping that A/c going and for other reasons. Dont remember ever being an issue. Still runs fine right?

    Inspect your MV's....

Been doing a few things to this M1097A2 since recovery....water pump, ps pump, and a few other things along the way. Today was my first chance at getting under it and doing a good stem to stern inspection of the underside. Besides a cracked dust boot, all is really good then I came to the mid...

    Windshield replacement problems

I do believe on set of the new windshield I got in had hinges already...maybe not. They did come with them at one time. I guess they found a way to make us buy them separate. Same diff though. They dont fit either. I know I did try two different sets of used hinges and I tried a complete...

    Windshield replacement problems

I have the exact same problem with two different deuces. It is frustrating. They will close fine without the gasket. Bottom gasket keeps them from closing. I thought about heating gasket with heat gun to make it more pliable so I can close window. The lock handle just barely MAY be able to pass...

    DWF kit Sensor cup

Interesting. That is where it was installed on my 1990 I had. Maybe they are still in same location. I will be trying to piece this thing back together, would almost rather buy the install kit short the stacks and do a new install.
