This is how the starter motor and solenoid are wired. Should give you the info you need for testing and note that the solenoid is activated before the motor.
Where is the "Activity stream" from a week or so ago, don't seem to be able to find it. Good to see what everybody is doing instead of looking at particular categories and miss 90% of the action (activities).

The control boxes are generally shown with a wiring error, it should be as corrected in the diagram below. It doesn't matter if the control box is used for the coolant heater or personnel heater, the correction applies to both.

Search for BB600 cells, they are used to "build" the batteries. Don't know any particular source, but popular with people making electric car conversions...
This handbook is a "must have" IMHO.
Like any other battery, you can stack them in parallel and or in series for any voltage and amp-hr capacity. The 38 cells that I have provides a total capacity 60 AH at 24 VDC nominal.
