This is how the starter motor and solenoid are wired. Should give you the info you need for testing and note that the solenoid is activated before the motor.

When installing the oil filter canisters, do not twist, just seat firmly and torque to 60 ft-lb (overtightening can loosen threaded inserts).

The control boxes are generally shown with a wiring error, it should be as corrected in the diagram below. It doesn't matter if the control box is used for the coolant heater or personnel heater, the correction applies to both.

Love tire chains. If you can't find them for your tires, make your own. The chains for the 8x8 were made from 1100-20 tire chains...

Search for BB600 cells, they are used to "build" the batteries. Don't know any particular source, but popular with people making electric car conversions... This handbook is a "must have" IMHO.

Like any other battery, you can stack them in parallel and or in series for any voltage and amp-hr capacity. The 38 cells that I have provides a total capacity 60 AH at 24 VDC nominal. The starter battery has a 30AH capacity and has been plenty so far for the LDS465-2 engine. Accessories, like...

The tires are marked 16-20 and are actually 16/70-20 by size (or 405/70-20 by metric standards).

I don't, wish I could find a few more, would be nice to have all tires the same brand for example. There was even a radial version on the truck made by Uniroyal, the others are made by Goodyear and Goodrich, some retreads some not. The Goodyear ones are the ones that have survived in best...
