This appears to be a 3 port swivel which I will confirm this afternoon when i climb under the truck for pictures, the port over the data tag is for bypass when the valves are all closed I believe as it goes into the side of the tank but not sure why it would go through the swivel.

Yes you are correct for all but boom down #6 is not powered it is just dump valve, guess I was half asleep.
As to running the quick disconnects that is "to much sugar for a dime" for me. And a 9 port is out of reach beyond the price of full electronic remote control. But if you guys want the...
And this why you should lube your cables, but Ron i will say that all of the dry cables i have seen on military trucks were where the sun and rain beat them dry. I personally think a well oiled cable inside a well oiled canvas cover will fair better than an exposed well oiled cable. Vinyl or...
The cover is not just to stop water from getting on the cable, but trash and dirt out which will damage almost any part of the winch. That said i also understand lots of maintenance will be a overall better option but most of us don't have the time or money to do tge intense maintenance to...
He should be given a copy for free if that is what they are citing as reason to not title. And if he ask nice. If they make him pay i will spot him a few bucks

Be careful with your boom out that far pulling around corners without the travel legs down it puts a lot of stress on your rotator gear box. It could damage it. They are strong but looks like you are at about 15' of boom so every 1000 lbs you pull sideways is like 15,000 lbs of torque you are...
I would like to just say to my fellow Steel Soldiers please quit talking down or negative to our other brothers who are trying to enjoy their MV's legally. Take a breath and see where you can stand behind them. The final outcome of all of this should help all MV owners.

I believe that the 816 has a slip ring for the lights so it can still go 360.
Yeah I know it has a swivel with electric slip ring.

My 936A2 will bust you head on the windshield, you have a problem. I would start by checking all the check valves.

My-my ain't that the pot calling the kettle black!
As to moving the hydraulic tank down, I don't see a reason why you couldn't but no good reason to do it. The hydro swivel will need to remain the same because you are still moving the same amount of fluid up and down.
I have always wanted to...
Wish you would have called me bud I could have probably saved you some time and effort. But now you have them apart I would clean them up real good then a light coat of Ez-slide will keep it from rusting and add a dry lube to keep them working.

I know the military made at least 4 M35 dredge trucks, I cut one up unfortunately, and there are couple on here. I have been thinking about making a 5 ton version of the SEE, I guess I should call it a LEE (Large Emplacement Excavator).

As it has been said a million times, air, fuel, and compression are what you have to have and in the proper ratio, to make torque and horsepower. You must always treat them as a system both going in and out.
