Got the honor to "haul" a family of heros in the Veteran's Day parade in Cheviot, OH today. The group in the back consists of the "Neal" family. Father was in the army in WWII, and all six sons served in various branches of service as well.

Read the post by RAT in the following thread. It's a pretty good explanation.

Gimp,
I was glad to go along. It was fun getting it going. I guess I should share your "thanks" with the members here. Most of what I know was learned by reading here. Besides, if I was really smart, I would have warned you about that "black spit" that comes out of the exhaust stack on...
Pierre Jalving's number was posted on Joe Young's Website (MVTrucker) .

Hey Jason, that wasn't an order, just a request. ( I guess I should not have used the BOLD text)

Just select your state, it will show a listing of parades (and other events).

IIRC, we had a Case (WD-240??) 2 1/2 cu yd front loader, a Cat D-7 Dozer,

I believe that they were all mainly civilian equivalents with green paint.
Gimp,
Don’t get me wrong. Given the all of the details of this particular situation, I think you started out appropriately. IMHO, If you get it for what you are offering, than you will have done very well.
Everyone hates to make an offer which then the seller accepts right away. . . ...
Gimp,
If you want some reading material . . . . . :)
Go to the tech manuals section and look for the “TM 9-2320-209-**” and the “TM 9-2320-361-**” series manuals. (I believe the –209- series is older and includes gas engines, and the later –361- is only for multi-fuel.)
Start with the...
:driver: Gimp, I agree! ! ! I sent a message to Todd Haley to see if he wanted to go along again. He is probably still picking the ticks off from the last trip. I think he lost count after 20.
