Gimp, I assume you meant to say "switch on air pak", there is no switch on master cylinder. Also, there are two kinds of switches, see the PS mag link:

Oh, forgot to mention . . . the "clean air" exhaust kit also includes the air cleaner- to-turbo tube and hoses/clamps.
This image and the one above are from TM 9-2320-361-34P
The easiest way to get a complete exhaust is to look for a "clean air" exhaust kit. There are actually quite a few brackets and clamps that you will need besides the pipe itself. This clean air kit includes them all.
You also might want to find a copy of Bjorn's (cranetruck) article in...
There was another thread awhile back listing MV suppliers
See here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=4420&highlight=
Roger (from London, OH ?) had a bunch of NOS battery boxes last summer at the MVPA national in Dayton. They were actually 800 series boxes, which (although not correct) can be made to work in the M35/M54 trucks with some minor modifications. I think he was getting $50 each. I can dig up...
Gimp,
You might want to consider checking the brake fluid. Hopefully it is still up from last month.
Good Luck!
EDIT: Might be a good idea to check the transfer case also
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Kenny!
PM sent.
I'm sure that some of you guys have seen the commercials for Verizon Wireless - I say their network has nothin' compared to this one!
Can anyone help a fellow out?
I placed an ad in the classifieds, but thought I would mention it here also. - I would like to purchase the Oil filter base/housing that attaches to the engine block. This is for a LD-465 / LDT-465. Do not need filter canisters or oil cooler. My housing has...
Hey Kenny, the turbo isn't exactly all the way done yet, (I think gimpy is just being gracious) but I am making progress. Thanks again for providing some of the pieces. It is coming together nicely.
Re: brakes, I installed a new master cylinder and new air pak. Then did the garden...
Hey Chuck, I assume you are refering to me. The only help I can give is: I can tell you "how NOT to do it"
I posted some pics in another thread awhile back. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=3712&highlight=tracks
Another option (if you are not intent on having mil-spec), is to browse a woodworking supply house. They offer flexible ducting in various sizes for dust collection systems. They also have fittings, such as elbows and tees, if you want to route something custom.
For example...
. . . probably too far out of the way, but I will offer just in case - I have a medium towbar with all the attachments that you are certainly welcome to borrow. I am very close to I-75, but down in Cincinnati. Let me know.
Hey Kenny,
... not sure if you ever found a suitable protective "sleeving" for your hydraulic hoses on the wrecker, but I stumbled onto the following product - thought it might fit the application.
Claims to protect against - abrasion, solvents, oils, AND UV ...
Chris, I noticed in the classified section that the mog and the goat were for sale. Hope it works out for you. We will definitely have to find something else for you to drive next year. . . . it's a sad day when THE founder of Steel Soldiers is MV-less. :(
Regarding the video; I...
Having "soldier B" in the towed truck worked well for us in that rescue mission. We had a relatively short trip, but there were several sharp turns at intersections along part of the route through a small town. Make sure you tell "soldier B" to keep his thumbs on the OUTSIDE of the steering...
I'm in for '07. - had an absolute blast last time. Highly recommend it to all.
. . . might have two road-worthy trucks by then and will be looking for a surrogate driver .
