    Recovery adventure today

The battery box is already out of the truck, so anything I hook up at this point will be kinda hand-fabbed. I will try just hooking straight up to 2 batteries if no one sees a problem with that.

Taking my MVs hunting in NW Oklahoma

I have only camped in the deuce bed once and I had a real issue with condensation dripping off the ceiling on me and all the gear. I mean it was really bad. Is this common? I guess the solution would be ventilation but when it's cold...ventilation isn't always comfortable either!

    Recovery adventure today

I guess I'm doing it the hard way. Won't be the first time. :cookoo: Can I pull the heater and test it by just running + and - wires to a 24-v battery circuit? Or do I need something else in between?

    Recovery adventure today

Spent some time pulling parts today. Had a blast. It's nice when you don't have to worry about things going back together. Pics attached for a couple questions: 1. Which turbo style is this? 2. I think I may have found the heater problem: shouldn't there be a ground wire somewhere...

    Stuck in reverse

The more I look at it the more I think the little plate that is attached to the shifter has a tab that is broken off. Dumb question: is there a way I can function-check the winch while it's in this condition? If I'm parting out the truck I don't really care if I can drive it or not. But I...

    Stuck in reverse

Here are some attempts at showing what's going on between the shifter and the rod guide things. I see something that looks like it may be broken off in there. But I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like.

    Stuck in reverse

Hey, i see the problem! The part that is clamped onto the 1/R rod in the front, has a little tab that the shifter is supposed to engage. That tab has slipped out of the slot it belongs in. How do I get it back in? Ehh...looked at it some more and maybe I'm wrong about that. None of the little...

    Stuck in reverse

Good! Can you walk me through a little what to try? I understand that the 1/R fork is the rear-most fork under the topcover.
