New DB2 injection pump housing marks differ from old DB2 pump

It sounds good at idle. It looks like you have it advanced quite a bit. Only way to tell is put it through all the different driving conditions you will encounter. If it runs good your good, otherwise bump it up or back depending on what you encounter, good job.

New DB2 injection pump housing marks differ from old DB2 pump

Line the marks up. Test drive and give the engine a lot of throttle. If the engine responds and does not hesitate or flutter you should be good. Trial and error is the best way.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Good to get that heater working with the cold weather coming up. Puget Sound is a beautiful place. I spent time up there at Fort Lewis. Would dig a fox hole out in the field so deep you could barely climb out just to stay warm, so I know it gets plenty cold at times in the winter. Good job!

Fuel shut off solenoid exploded internally!?!

Kind of what I was getting at was that if leaving the ignition on caused the solenoid to crack, more then likely the glow plugs would have burned out before the solenoid cracked. I think Mullaney is spot on with the old age theory. Thanks to everyone who contributed the info regarding how the...

    M1008 - wrong thermostat housing?

Faststandard is correct, you are missing your guard, your belt might need to be tightened. They do sell a belt gauge. I would snug it up until you remove most of the wobble in your belt.

    Sagging door of doom

Take a hold of your door while open and lift it up and down. If you have a lot of movement then you probably have worn out bushings around your pins. Buy replacement pins that come with bushings. Remove the doors, you will need to cut the door pins because from the factory they come with a crimp...

    Th400 going bad?

If the transmission was working like it should until the motor swap I think I would hesitate on a transmission overhaul. If it is not broken don't fix it.

    Th400 going bad?

A difference in the cam can make a difference in the stall speed of the torque converter going from a 6.2 to a 6.5.

    Th400 going bad?

How long have you been operating your vehicle with the present torque converter before you started having trouble. Is your torque converter stall speed matched to the gears your running.

Strange noises and vibration may go along with your symptoms if torque converter is going out.
