    tow bar info needed

Yeah Simp is correct the seller didn't know what he was listing, humvee is a 3/4" pin, CUCV, M35, M809, and M939 all use a 1" pin. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    M923A1 vs M923A2

Okay I can't stay out of this, I have got to put in my two bits. I have thousands of miles in moving thousands of 939 series trucks and have done it in all three different 936 wreckers and a 816. It breaks down like this if you need to pull something heavy and you are bone stock. 816 936 936A1...

    tow bar info needed

Hey was that y'all that moved that huge satellite dish? By the way make sure you get real towbar pins they are much stronger and safer than the shackle pins. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    tow bar info needed

Yes that is a standard Hunter medium towbar not even a heavy medium towbar, and the heavy towbar weighs twice what that one does or maybe more. As said above you need the 1" feet and pins for moving 5 tons, the 3/4" feet are only for humvees. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

How often does your fan kick in?

Don't have a document that will show it but after cutting up a thousand or so trucks I could have made a video of the stuff that I saw coming out. As to how often my fans come on I think mine is cycling to often also as it was kicking on and off last night on the way home from Ga rally. It...

How often does your fan kick in?

Time doesn't play into what kicks the fan on and off but everyone should flush the crud out of trucks as they can have very nice green fluid in the tank and be almost completely stopped up. These trucks sit for most of their lives and the antifreeze will separate from the water and cause really...

    Ether start t stat

20°F and it should not hurt anything to bypass it that I know of, I would rather use it than spray can because it uses a metered amount. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    M923A2 Wiper Motor

Oil them as said above and try pushing in the button, if it is stuck in try pulling it out. I like converting to electric system off M35A3. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    M923 PTO help

Not sure what you call a large winch? 20k off front of 5 ton is medium 45k is large. What is a hydraulic boat trailer? And will it need hydraulic power from truck? What are you calling a non reputable brand PTO? Don't know of any off brands made for the Allison Mt652 transmission in the 939...

    Is this how batteries die?

On CUCV'S especially but I find all 24v systems it helps to rotate the batteries yearly or even 6 months the 12v only battery seams to get the most wear and tear for some reason and it also is a good time to clean up and fix any corrosion that might have started. Sent from my SM-G900V using...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

You can feel the difference between 1/4" steel and 1/4" aluminum without picking it up? Only other way would be hammering on it and I hope you didn't beat the paint off somebody's console. Yeah if it was steel I would have to use the wrecker to lift it but I can lift the front of it with one...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

They are worth it, we bought a lot of 20 I think about 4 years ago. The foam is different says my upholstery guy and my backside, believe that it is some of the newer MRAP type foams to prevent spine injury these are the second type seats in the up armored 939p2 the older seats were mounted on a...
