But the CUCV'S alternators are 100 amp units and the batteries can provide a heck of a lot for a short time I would say a 10000 watt would work just fine as your running load is almost never as high as your starting load and what are you wanting to run is more of a factor than the inverter size...
Glad to know you knuckle draggers can offer me up like chopped liver, but I will gladly play pivot point for a little wheel and deal. And Amphibious who now lives in Vermont did have 3-4 down in Gulfport when I was working with him. So I know a little bit about them but hate working or riding on...
I have 2 new in the box 4 door tan soft tops just canvas for humvee asking 300.
Will be bringing tons of stuff not sure what all but have many cut up 939 trucks if you need heavy parts speak up.

Okay going to say that this is on a M939 series truck? XZL in the background gave it away, so you also need to check that your transfer case shifter interlock is functioning properly while you are there. If it were me I would disable it and the auto engagement switch on that rod you have off...
Okay discoball I drug this over here where it belongs. I understand that the turbo that grendel bought is a floating sleeve bearing and I still want to know if the ball bearings and water cooling would help on a 400 HP 8.3L. These turbos are very large so I would think that the ball bearings...
Hey discoball your alts are great but the man asked about chargers. Let's see if you can stay on target here. I personally would say that if you are going to be keeping the truck inside get a good desulfating maintenance charger, if you're keeping the truck outside I would run the solar charger...
So about what does one of those cost new I think it might be about what I want for mine. And do you think that ball bearing and water cooled center sections make a longer lasting setup?

This should put us at Alabama, Georgia line around 1-2 eastern time. And this is if we are slow, I figure me or profo are going to be limited to 60-65 mph max.

Thanks bud that helps a bunch, for my convoy guys that don't know Simpson he has a M923A1 that pulls hard and he has a lead foot, if he made it in 7, I think 9 hours is safe figure for us going east this includes the extra hour we lose at the Bama line. So how's about we roll out at 6? Just to...
Now I think you are on to something, not sure about the dump truck pump (thought they were made into the valve and reservoir) but adding the rear output on the PTO could work if there is room for a pump. The reservoir can go behind the passenger fuel tank. A 925 tank and pump should work nice...
That looks like way more work than the setup Goldeneagle ce up with. I will try to find the thread and post it here.
