I changed out the left middle axle seal a few months ago and when I looked at it today its leaking again. There was no scoring or anything on the axle to indicate any sort of issue, the new seals were of high quality and the install went great so im not sure what would cause them to keep leaking...

curious if the spitter valve on the bottom of the air dryer can be purchased separately from the air dryer. The one on my truck gets stuck from time to time.
Beware of the TM everything guys. Yes good to read but it will get annoying hearing read the TM every time you ask a question. Im guessing you are like a lot of us, non retired with better things to do than reading 10,000 pages of TM.
I know some of the guys at Firepunk diesel in plain city ohio. They build custom trannys for high hp trucks. I have one in my pickup. They have won the diesel power challenge 2 years in a row now.
My first thought was that they were low oil pressure etc lights and why in the heck were they painted over but im glad I didnt take the paint off. Thanks for straightening me out
You may be correct. its the ones that hang around the oil pressure gauge and temp gauge, the ones that are in that general area. If they are suppose to be that way then mine are perfect.
Im just curious why the gov. would paint over the warning lights on the dash by the gauges. I thought they were just blanks but I unscrewed the lenses and there were bulbs behind it so not blanks. Has the nice thick green stuff sprayed over them. All this on my 923a0
