Looks like you are taking your time to check things over before going for the smoke and noise. It is always exciting to wake up a long dormant engine. Glad it seems to work out so well!
Installed the low air pressure warning light that I have had on the shelf for some 5 years. Now I have a bright red light to accompany the noisy buzzer. Not sure why the generator light is in the yellow...was in the green when I came home.
I had a similar issue but it was intermittent and resolved with a filter change....after I had changed the filters not too long before and thought "nah, that ain't the problem!". It sure was.
I got a bad batch of fuel somewhere.
I second the advice to take the troubleshooting TM and go through...
I think the NAPA/aftermarket switches are intended for lower max hydraulic pressures and have been known to fracture; the stock switches on the other hand seem to do that as well. I remember reading a thread about this a few years back. The military started changing them out for air side...
Not sure why yours would be 3 prong but the 7 pin Male plug that the flasher box has (and yes, you do not use all of the contacts) is made by Amphenol and has the manufacturer number of MS3102E16-10P.
I ordered mine from Mouser Electronics but I am sure there are other sources.

No, do not do that without at the very least addressing the diesel fuel getting into the oil (hence the huge volume you drained). You need to
- bypass the FDC
- change the O-rings sealing the hydraulic head and shutoff
- check or eliminate the flame heater
- check/change booster pump seals
If...
From the TM....this is was I was thinking for the curved tube. It has two 90 degree bends in it, one downwards and one to the right, the opening pointing to the passenger side.
Maybe the pipe came loose from the brackets and was whacked by the rotating crankshaft? The fractured part would be...
So, your engine is "making oil". That is one thing to address, through changing some important o rings.
Diluted engine oil causes leaks.
The broken part...I was staring at it and it vaguely looks like a piece of oil pickup tube. You'd see that on the bottom end more or less straight away with...
I know that a lot of people work hard to pull the runflat inserts OUT of their tires to remove rotating mass and make it easier on the brakes (and to lift the tire, no doubt). I am just curious what the rationale is to actually use the runflats? Avoiding need to carry a spare?
I push grease in until old grease comes out except for the king pin bushings (a few good pumps) and the trunnions (I have zerks in the caps; a few good pumps but I do not want to blow out the seal facing to the center of the truck).

Johan, the hydraulic pressure switch is regarded by many as a weak link in the hydraulic brake circuit. You may want to consider putting in a second air pressure operated switch and replacing the hydraulic one with a pipe plug.

I just finished greasing mine. If you only have a hand pump grease gun, my condolences and the best of luck. Aside from your arms falling off halfway through the job, some spots are so tight that you will have a hard time pumping. Maybe an extra long hose helps.
Do yourself a favour and get an...
Queen Lola got her oil and filters changed. 1 gallon of Lucas oil stabilizer, 10 quarts of Rotella T5 15W40 and 8 quarts of 5W40 heavy duty diesel oil I had left over.
Also complete chassis grease job today. Why is it that the grease nipples that do not work and need changing are mostly the...
9.00R20 and 10.00R20 are very close in outer diameter, according to tire size charts available online.
40.1 vs 41.2 in diameter. New, that is. Who knows how big or small the difference is with different tire wear.
New they are within the 3% size difference generally acceptable for tire sizes...
I honestly do not know how I am able to live my life without a knuckleboom or a dump truck. It seems that a guy needs to own both to be able to do meaningful stuff. I think you are doing the right thing there.
You have no idea what you are missing with your whale tail.
The gentle feeling of impalement with the new style handle when one slides off the seat just slightly the wrong way when getting out of the truck. Yup, brake's on! No light needed!
I don't see why it cannot be relocated. It is a...
Some owners fit an in-line fuel pump when the in-tank one quits (less$$$), so look for that as well. While normally they are located somewehere above and outside of the fuel tank, farmer ingenuity can place them anywhere along the fuel supply line from the tank to the injection pump.
Nice to see an M35 brush truck that is not overloaded to the hilt. One water tank as depicted, plus pump, hoses and assorted equipment keep it nicely within the 5000 lbs offroad envelope. I have seen many that are well over the 10000 lbs cargo weight for on-road and then mercilessly beaten off...
Thanks for this useful thread. I finally rebuilt the defective airpack that I had sitting on the shelf for 10 years. The air can was good (I honed it anyway) and I tore the paper seal for the air can lid. This seal is too tight...I had oiled/greased it to make it supple, but it still tore...
