There is a neutral safety switch.Two sets of wires go down to the trans.Neutral safety and back up lights.back up lights use a pressure switch on the side of the trans.The neutral safety is on the control lever.Just unplug the two wires and jumper them together to see if it will start.

That looks like all of the standard wiring including the solid state flasher.I am thinking that the different harness that you refer to could have been the one with earlier style connectors with the metal fittings (douglas connectors?) instead of the rubber ones.You should be able to use any...

Mine was leaking also when I first got the truck.Gave it a few taps to re-seat the valve.I was going to take it apart to clean it but it seems to be working fine now.Also,no air pressure means no air assist for the brakes.You will still have brakes but may have to push on the peddle hard.

I picked up two myself with racks and bows....and hopefully the tarps in the bed (looked like it anyway).Anyone going up that could take a look?
