If you have power on both sides of the flasher when it is removed, it is getting backfeed. I have only heard this with one other persons cucv besides mine. If you take apart the inside fuse panel there is a diode/ resistor. That is what fails and back feeds. I cut mine off and has been fine...
To your turn signals work at all? what if you put on the hazzards? At the bottom right there is a flasher in the fuse panel is that where you are getting power on each side?

Got a mep-002 a while ago and I was wondering if it is normal for the genset to shake. Its bad enough where it is hard to read the gauges up close. All of the isolators look good. I also removed the covers and ran the genset to watch the blower and it looked fine. So how bad does yours shake or...
Did you install the extra ford relay you were going to do? When I got my hacked up M1008 it was so bad I had to make my own jumpers to get everything to work. May not be a bad Idea to rule stuff out. Really need to get the multi meter out and see whats going on.
