Tim check and see how much it would be to just rent a fairgrounds and tell them what you are wanting to do, you never know might be free or at least cheap.
Yeah you should be able to just remove the air line from the actuator and cap it and the spring should push it back so you can shift the transfer case, if not unscrew the actuator and use the magnet to remove the detent pin.
No, on all 939A2's they were built with an inline small silver fuel filter like you would find on a jeep. They were such a failure that the guy's would take boxes of them with them and the military issued a replacement kit with an old style big canister filter and hoses. The filter on the engine...
Okay colt at this point we need to check out a few things. Do you have the shifter down, parallel to the floor, in high range? Check the switch on the shifter with a multimeter then at the solenoid. If you have power and the air is dumping when you push the button, then remove the actuator, it...
Okay time to break it down step by step get a small container, quart or bigger run a short line to the IP and see how long it runs the IP should be able to pull the fuel a foot or so no problem, if it doesn't you have an IP problem, if that works move back to the filter, then the pump then the...

Arise dead thread! Does anybody know what FS code yellow was used for the Marine trucks? Like on the shackles and such. I would like facts not guessing please.
Sounds like you need to PM your whole air system, I would start at the drain on that tank and disconnect it from the tank and clean it out and then do all the rest of the drains, then start on the feed lines and check valves, you are going to find lots of rust and crap.
98G is correct but you have to understand when he says no air that means shut the truck off then open the gladhand on the driver front and let it bleed off all the air and you might even need to pump the brake petal to get all of it out.
