Continental Motors sucessfully demonstrated the engine, in LDS-427 form, to the military, using as I recall, 7 different fuels. In a past article, and past web postings, I've named them. But I don't have this information at hand at the moment.

I have photos of trucks with beacons in Vietnam. Out of several thousand Vietnam truck photos, perhaps 4-5 (other than fire trucks) have beacons - and from memory they are all wreckers.

Too test brake fluid - use an eyedropper to drop some in a bottle or glass full over water. If the brake fluid stays a "wad" - its silicone. If it mixes and disappears, its DOT 3. In my experience, turbo has no effect on idle.
