Gentlemen!
Im working on training a new gpt to assist users with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining their 802 and 803.
It needs thorough testing and SHOULD NOT be used as a guide at this point. It has been trained on the TM's. I dont have the knowledge of the TM's at this point to...
OK, you do not want to buy a truck. But you are looking for parts, for someone else. So start a parts wanted thread. Thats what you are supposed to do when trying to find/locate or buy parts. I would also suggest your friend needs to contact Patracy If he has had problems joining the forum.
What you are saying here is, I want to buy a truck. What you are supposed to do is start a "Vehicle wanted" thread. But, its not for you. Your friend needs to do that. So why can he not become a member?
I spent a lot of time in one of these.
The roof is prone to leak. Fixable. but its a lot of work.
There is supposed to be curtains to enclose it when the doors are open on both sides.

Why don't you get 4-5 people to take a look see. The last year I worked as a FMT, Field Maintenance Tech, I spent the whole time driving around Germany, fixing Brand New Trucks, that had been assembled wrong at the factory. Or teams of civilians going from unit to unit "Upgrading" equipment...
Maybe this will help a little. I have never used a M929A2 TM. But I think if you read the procedures before doing work on the truck, and maybe at least twice, you can understand the differences between the models.
The Parts TM's. Read the first chapters of the parts TM. There it will explain...
Indeed, its a basic M105 trailer. The M105A1 and newer trailers are all listed in TM 9-2330-213-14&P. That style Landing Wheel, (An incredible PITA) was deleted for the TM's long ago. So if you just HAVE to have it, junk piles and scrap yards are a good place to start looking.

This M62 is on display at the 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City. ( https://www.okngmuseum.com/ )
This place has a wrecker on display. See if you can send them a mail and ask for the TM 9-837, and any...
