What TM did you get this part number from? I looked in the TM for the heater in the TM form and came up with something very different. And that part number had an NSN. 2530-01-398-5396
So what TM are you using?
Thanks for the confidence booster but I think there is a long row to hoe to get even close to the knowledge you guys have. I do enjoy learning though.
We all started out where you are at.
Another good way to find these cables and plugs is this. They are normally turned in as electrical scrap. If you can find a friendly fellow at DRMO, or where even they dispose of scrap, ask them who bought the last load of electrical cable scrap. If its someone local, take a look see. We used to...

The Military doesn't use break in oil. The reset will not use break in oil. If an engine passes all the tests, then they leave it in the gen set. It works. Why fool with it.
Typical A5 Failure. The K5 relay should be ok, but TEST, TEST, TEST! And as you see, the R3 & R6 have been hot. Typical. They need to be tested also.
I kept 2-3 of the A5 Cards in my desk, or in the jump box. The beauty of the A5 card was it fit all gen sets from 15 KW to 100 KW.
I also kept...
