What TM did you get this part number from? I looked in the TM for the heater in the TM form and came up with something very different. And that part number had an NSN. 2530-01-398-5396 So what TM are you using?

The Military doesn't use break in oil. The reset will not use break in oil. If an engine passes all the tests, then they leave it in the gen set. It works. Why fool with it.

Solder two wires in to bridge the traces. Reinstall. Try it. If its broke, you cant make it more broke.
